To make sure our review was as thorough as possible, we sent out messages on Meetby for two weeks – that’s over 200 messages! During this time, we also looked at how user-friendly it is by exploring all features available in each version (including video chat). Additionally, we monitored customer service response times so readers can be assured they’ll have their queries addressed quickly if needed. All these steps allowed us to provide an honest assessment that goes beyond just giving our opinion – something other review sites don’t always do.
My experience with Meetby was far from stellar. The user profiles are public, so anyone can view them without having to sign up for an account. Unfortunately, you cannot set a custom bio and the location info is displayed in each profile – there’s no way to hide it either! This means that if you’re looking for someone local or even just nearby, this isn’t the app for you as there’s no indication of how close users actually are.

The colors are dull and uninspiring – it looks like they took their inspiration from an old-school MS Paint palette! As for the user interface (UI), it’s clunky at best; navigating around Meetby can feel like wading through treacle at times.
The main problem with Meetby is its lack of features: there aren’t any bells or whistles here – just basic functions such as creating a profile, searching for matches and messaging other users. It’s almost as if they’ve forgotten about all those little extras which make online dating so enjoyable! Even more disappointingly, some UI improvements only become available when you purchase a paid subscription – not exactly great value for money in my opinion… Ughhh…I’m sorry but I have no choice but to give Meetby two thumbs down on design & usability grounds alone! This app needs serious work before anyone should consider using it – unless you’re looking for something truly ‘basic’ then look elsewhere folks!!

All in all, I’d give this app 2 stars out 5 because while they do provide some useful services but overall lack innovation and value for money when compared against competitors..

Their paid subscription plans are expensive compared to other apps out there. You get what you pay for though; with a premium account comes access to more potential matches and better communication tools. But unless your wallet is overflowing with cash, this might be too much of an investment just for finding love online!
Bottom line: If money isn’t an issue then sure – go ahead and try Meetby out…otherwise I’d suggest checking around first before signing up (or shelling out) on their pricey subscriptions.
