Ah, Flirthookup. I was so excited to try out this online dating site and see what it had to offer! Unfortunately, after giving it a go for myself, I can confidently say that my experience wasn’t the best.
First off, all of the user profiles are public which means anyone who visits the website can view them – no matter if they’re signed up or not. This makes me feel uncomfortable because there’s no way to keep your profile private unless you delete it completely from their system (which isn’t ideal). Additionally, while setting up your profile you don’t have an option for a custom bio – meaning everyone has pretty much identical information about themselves listed on their page…yawn! As far as location info goes in each person’s profile; yes its included but unfortunately there is no indication of how close someone may be geographically speaking…or even worse-you cannot hide this information either so complete strangers will know exactly where you live without any sort of verification process first – talk about sketchy!
To make matters worse premium subscriptions do nothing more than give users access to additional features like seeing who liked them before messaging back and forth with other members..not really worth paying extra money for if ya ask me. Also during my time using Flirthookup I encountered quite a few fake profiles which were obviously created by bots trying lure people into signing up with false promises or whatever else they were trying sell….just another reason why staying away from this particular dating site would probably be wise decision overall….trust me when i say “been there done that!"
